Fusion Martial Arts enables our students to practice self-discipline, mental flexibility and to develop a strong sense of justice, fortitude, compassion, humility and resolve. This is what separates the true student from one who has mastered only the physical aspects of the art. Our students, who come from all walks of life, work together, enjoy their training, encourage their fellow students and practice humility. We actively encourage siblings and even families to train together.
Fusion Martial Arts relays on the Chang Hon Pattern System for the basis of our training, gradings and syllabus. Developed by the legendary General Choi Hong Hi (the father and founder of Taekwon-do) the Chang Hon pattern system is taught by ITF Taekwon-do and many other Taekwon-do schools around the World.
Fusion Martial Arts brings together ideas and information from other sources including modern sports science, Bujinkan Budō Taijutsu (associated with Ninjitzu), Wing-Chun (Kung-Fu), and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). This is to enhance our Taekwon-do skills and ensures we have self-defense techniques for all students, no matter what abilities or physical limitations they might have.
